Kayah invites you to “Jazzayah” — a concert during which her original songs and well-known hits will sound in new jazz arrangements. The program will be complemented by Polish and American jazz standards. The artist will perform at the Podkarpackie Philharmonic as part of the Rzeszów Jazz Festival 2026.
Kayah has been freely combining pop, soul and jazz for years, also reaching for ethnic music and electronics. In the program “Jazzayah”, her voice and interpretation of the text come to the fore. The intimate composition leaves room for the musicians to improvise and allows them to discover a different sound of well-known songs.
She will be accompanied on stage by Jan Smoczyński on piano, Sławomir Kurkiewicz on double bass and Michał Miśkiewicz on drums, and Iwona Zasuwa will complete the vocal parts. It is an opportunity to meet Kayah in a jazz repertoire in which the singer's personality harmonizes with the freedom and imagination of the instrumentalists.
