On Tuesday, December 8 at 17:30 we invite you to the fifth meeting of the series {(Non) Teacher's Room}, inspired by works of art from the CSW Studio Collection and the experiences of visiting exhibitions with students.
How to stop in the daily rhythm of working with the class to see what the group really needs? How to create a space in which each person can preserve their individuality and at the same time contribute to the community?
During the workshop we will consider when it is worth abandoning the implementation of the previously assumed scenario in order to listen to the current needs of the students and how to recognize the changing dynamics of the group using simple, engaging methods. We will lean on the category of freedom of choice and influence on group decisions. We will consider what relaxation practices we can propose to the group in the tact of common time.
(Non) Teacher's Room
A series of six monthly workshops of a developmental, instrumental and networking nature aimed at teachers, educators and educators working with children and youth groups. The project invites participants to go beyond the established patterns of educational and didactic work and to search for alternative and performative ways of building relationships with the group inspired by creative processes. The starting point of the meetings will be the exhibitions presented in the CSW Zamek Ujazdowski. Together we will experience contemporary art using creative working methods such as body and voice work, visualization, creative writing, drama or improvisation. They will become tools for reflection on the reality around us and an inspiration to search for ways to translate artistic experiences into educational practice.
