A vacation spent with his grandmother from the Dominican Republic becomes an opportunity for Julian to discover family stories, Caribbean traditions and a world he has never known until now. Each subsequent day brings new experiences and allows him to look at his own family from a completely different perspective. The biggest dream of Julian, fascinated by sea creatures and the ocean, is to participate in the upcoming mermaid parade. The holiday brings him a chance to strengthen family ties, express his own sensitivity and, above all, find an answer to the question: who exactly does he want to be? It's a warm story about discovering roots, celebrating creativity and the courage to be yourself. Who's Julian? is the latest production of Oscar-nominated Irish studio Cartoon Saloon. The premiere of the film took place at the most important festival of animated films in Annecy.
