It's all theatre! Based on Lovis Corinth's designs for theatre, you create costumes from paper, mesh, thread, thread and other materials. The staircase in the Berlinische Galerie then becomes a catwalk! The theatre needs all sorts of things to put on a performance. Those who act, of course, but also stage sets. Lovis Corinth designed them and we want that this time too. Make up stories for the stage and draw the scenery and what else you want to bring to the stage.
City life, city shadows Here you create an imaginary three-dimensional urban landscape based on the Josef Kaiser exhibition. With cardboard, paper, scissors, colored pencils, and other recycled materials, you build houses, rooms, and secret corners. By playing with light and shadow, you investigate: What can you see? What remains hidden? And what is happening in the areas of our city?
Crumbling landscape experiments with kinetic sand — you press, layer and divide it up, make it trickle, crumble or roll. Like Jeewi Lee in her exhibition “Residual Memories,” you discover traces and forms that arise, change and disappear again. Use a pen to record the shapes and outlines of the sand on paper. You can then assemble your picture to form a large landscape that continues to grow during the children's vernissage.
