Stroller Cinema: State Security [OmeU] D, 2026, directed by Faraz Shariat with Chen Emilie Yan, Julia Jentsch, 101 min
A racist attack on public prosecutor Seyo Kim (Chen Emilie Yan) fundamentally changes her life. The perpetrator is unknown, but her authority forbids her from starting an investigation. Undeterred, Seyo sets out on a search and actually manages to bring one of the perpetrators to justice. However, she is not satisfied with this and is conducting further research to unmask his contacts. She soon targets alleged individual cases and innocent witnesses and digs into the depths of state authorities, which are far from being as objective as they claim to be, but have sometimes even been infiltrated by right-wing sympathizers. She experiences a state that is blind in the right eye.
