King Buffalo

Following their visit to Colossal Weekend this spring, King Buffalo is now returning to Denmark and bringing their heavy, psychedelic universe to Pumpehuset on March 19, 2027

The American trio hails from Rochester, New York, and consists of vocalist and guitarist Sean McVay, bassist Dan Reynolds and drummer Scott Donaldson. Rooted in heavy psych and psychedelic rock, they create a massive and hypnotic soundscape where heavy riffs, progressive rhythms, atmospheric passages merge. It's music that can feel both meditative and overwhelming — with room for long, dreamy passages as well as hard-hitting riffs.

Since forming in 2013, King Buffalo has built a solid reputation as a strong live band. With several EPs and full-length albums in the bag, the trio has toured the world and shared stage with names such as Clutch, All Them Witches, Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats, The Sword and Elder. The band has also fronted their own headline tours in the UK and Europe and played festivals across Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium — and Denmark, among others.

Now it's Copenhagen's turn to get King Buffalo up close. After the festival visit in May, the trio will have their own night this time, with Pumpehuset being the setting for a full dose of heavy psych from a band that has made it their specialty to bridge the gap between the hypnotic, the progressive and the brutal.
