Kino Konesera — “C.K. Deserters” in Independence Day

On November 11, we invite you to the Officer's Casino in Modlin Fortress for a unique meeting with Polish cinema!

As part of the celebration of the National Independence Day, we have prepared for you another installment of Kino Koneser, during which we will watch the cult comedy “C.K. Deserters” directed by Janusz Majewski.

This is one of the points of our celebration in the Oficerski Casino — you will find the detailed program of the celebration on a separate poster.

“C.K. DESERTERS” (1985)

Full of humor, brilliant dialogues and unforgettable characters, the story of a group of soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian army who during the First World War decide to take fate into their own hands and desert. The star cast includes Marek Kondrat, Zoltán Bezerédy, Wiktor Zborowski and Wojciech Pokora.

Interesting fact! The film was shot in Modlin Fortress, which is why its projection in the Oficerski Casino will have a special, local dimension!

The meeting will begin with a lecture by Mateusz Pasternak — a passionate film artist and researcher of popular culture, who will introduce us to the world of film, introduce us to the circumstances of its creation and share curiosities related to the production.

After the screening we will invite you to a joint discussion, and during the screening we also planned a coffee break.
