CONNOISSEUR'S CINEMA “PIANIST” — restored 4K version

We invite you to the Oficerski Casino for another meeting as part of our series for lovers of good cinema — Kino Konesera.

This time on the big screen we will see one of the most important films of Roman Polanski — “The Pianist”, which returns in a new, thoroughly restored 4K version.

Based on the memoirs of Władysław Szpilman, the film tells the story of an esteemed pianist and composer whose life changes with the outbreak of World War II. In occupied Warsaw, Szpilman fights for survival, and in a world marked by war, loss and destruction, music remains one of the most important points of support for him.

The main role was played by Adrien Brody. The film was awarded the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and three Oscars — for directing, leading male role and adapted screenplay.
