“Obsession” is one of the most important and popular horror films of this year. The film premiered in the midnight section of the Toronto Film Festival, then attracted audiences at Fantastic Fest and won the Audience Award at the Sitges Festival. This proposal of popular cinema was also met with great appreciation by critics. Bear (Michael Johnson) platonically in love with his friend Nikki (Inde Navarrette), wants to win the heart of his beloved and decides to fulfill his dream with the help of a cheap wish-fulfilling toy “One Wish Willow”. The toy really works and the boy gets exactly what he asked for, but he soon discovers that some desires come with a dark, sinister price.
