We remember some films primarily because of the emotions that remain with us long after the end of the screening. Love, longing, hope, sacrifice, courage and emotion find their fullest reflection in music. The Silesian Chamber Orchestra and violinist Agnieszka Sawicka will invite the audience to the world of film stories that have touched millions of viewers around the world.

The program will feature compositions belonging to the most beautiful cards of film music. We will hear moving themes from Schindler's List and The Pianist — films about humanity, memory and the power of survival. There will also be music from The Mission, one of Ennia Morricone's greatest masterpieces, whose extraordinary melody and spiritual depth have delighted listeners around the world for decades.

The evening will also bring a meeting with stories of great feelings. Melodies from Titanic, Pearl Harbor and Breakfast at Tiffany's will remind you of the power of love and longing, and the famous Moon River will once again delight with its simplicity and timeless beauty. Next to them will be music from Forrest Gump and Terminal — films that show that the greatest stories often tell about ordinary people and their extraordinary destinies.

The audience will also hear songs full of drama and inner strength. The monumental sounds of Gladiator and Braveheart will remind of the heroes fighting for freedom and their own values, while the hypnotic music of Requiem for Sleep will reveal the darker side of human emotions. The contrast for them will be the moody sounds of Twin Peaks Town and the lyrical music from Avatar.

The solo parts will be performed by Agnieszka Sawicka, whose violin will guide the listeners through the world of the most moving film stories. With a combination of music, holographic projections and unforgettable film themes, the concert will become a unique journey through stories that move regardless of time and generation.

Moving cinema is an evening for all those who believe that music can tell the most important emotions without using words. It is an encounter with melodies that not only remind us of great cinematic stories, but also allow you to relive them.
