Video Descriptions:
“Father Jan Kaczkowski's Children's Day”/16:00
is a feature-length documentary film directed by Artur Wierzbicki, telling the story of one of the most valued Polish clergymen of recent years. The documentary, created from previously unpublished archives, presents Fr Jan Kaczkowski not only as a charismatic priest and creator of a hospice, but above all as a man — a son, a friend, a teacher and a mentor. The film takes the viewer through his childhood, adolescence, priestly journey and the experience of a serious illness, showing that love, relationships and concern for others remain the most important values. It is a story of courage, empathy, responsibility and hope. The universal message of the film makes it reach both believers and non-believers, becoming an inspiration to talk about what really makes life meaningful.
“100 Days: Mission Zeus”/5:30 p.m.
is the sequel to one of the loudest youth films of recent years. This time, the heroes go beyond the school walls, and the stakes are higher than ever before — though they themselves don't feel ready for it. Kapsel and his crew are taking their first steps into adult life. Some have already moved on, others are trying to arrange their lives their own way, and Kapsel... can't find himself. He lives with his parents, at work he has said goodbye to his ambitions and increasingly asks himself if the best time is behind him. However, when a mission appears on the horizon on which the future of many people may depend, there is no time for doubt.
“Doll”/7:30 p.m.
For nearly 140 years, the work of Bolesław Prus has ignited the emotions and imagination of subsequent generations. Now this timeless story hits the big screen in a spectacular new installment. The new film adaptation of “Dolls” is a timeless, poignant story about love and non-fulfillment, about aspirations and transformation, about a world that is just ending, told with a contemporary sensibility.
More than 30 leading Polish actors were involved in the film. On the screen we will see, among others, Marcin Dorociński, Andrzej Seweryn, Kamila Urzedowska, Agata Kulesha, Maria Dębska, Mateusz Damięcki, Krystyna Janda, Karolina Gruszka, Boris Szyc, Maciej Stuhr, Filip Pławiak, Dawid Ogrodnik, Paweł Wilczak or Andrzej Chyra.
