Can a kiss speak?
Can it be a story and an action of the mouth at the same time?
Can it be a message that contains history, tension, hierarchy, consent, or violence?
“kiss to tell” is a performance about a kiss that can tell.
About a kiss that can be a moment of suspension between an act of domination and devotion, between a sense of threat and delight.
During a kiss, you can experience both intimacy and a state close to annihilation. In this simple gesture, both tenderness and the need for communion can be revealed, as well as the mechanisms of power and desire.
“Kiss to Tell” focuses on the relationship between the physiological corporeality and the narrator's body. The artist sees the kiss not as a romantic symbol, but as an action that creates a space in which opposites meet: tenderness and brutality, delight and violence, silence and chaos. In this dimension, the kiss ceases to be just an expression of love, but begins to speak in its own uninhibited language.
