Silages — Fermentation and Good Bacteria — Intergenerational Celebration of Yields

At the end of the cycle, we will meet at a common table during a neighborhood, intergenerational picnic, which will be an opportunity to celebrate the harvest, summarize the joint activities and meet the residents.

The central point of the event will be the joint pickling of cabbage. We will meet at the big barrel, and we will be accompanied by seniors who have known this tradition for generations and will share their own experiences, recipes and memories.

Pickling is not only a way of preserving food, but also an element of intangible cultural heritage and an example of knowledge passed down between generations. The joint preparation of preparations will become an opportunity to talk about local culinary traditions, the use of seasonal products and the value of the common table.

We will find out what and how you can sour, we will also talk about fermentation and homemade vinegars. However, the most important thing will be joint action — exchange of experience, cooperation and building neighborly relations.

The final meeting will be at the same time a symbolic summary of the entire cycle of the “Mysterious Garden Full of Senses”: a place that, through nature, crafts, storytelling and joint action, becomes a space created by the inhabitants for the inhabitants.

We want our event to be accessible to all participants. If you have special needs related to participation — let us know. We will try to provide adequate support so that everyone can comfortably attend the event.

Depending on your needs, we offer, among others:
induction loop for the hearing impaired,
translation into Polish Sign Language (PJM),
assistance during the event,
other forms of support — individually tailored.

Please send requests for special needs in advance.
