The Lie

“The Lie” is a humorous comedy about a young married couple, Billy and Jane, whose lives change after the birth of their daughter. Billy, fascinated by a younger fitness trainer, becomes embroiled in an affair, and his secret inevitably affects relationships in the family. Soon, his shrewd mother Alice steps into the action... Intertwining lies, secrets and brilliant dialogues make viewers gasp to see if love will stand the test of time.

Witty dialogues, as in Woody Allen's films, are undoubtedly the strong point of “Lies”. Comedian Joe DiPietro is a brilliant observer of human relationships, and in his plays we can see ourselves as if in a mirror. In addition, in Kvadrata, the cast is a dream come true.

The performance is the directorial debut of actor Paweł Wawrzecki, the artist with the longest working experience at the Kwadrat Theater. His many years of comedy experience resulted in a truly artful and hilarious performance...
