In 1600, Orlando, a young man from an aristocratic family (played by a woman - Tilda Swinton), is beset by Queen Elizabeth I, enchanted by his beauty, with the curse of “being young forever.” 200 years later, she becomes a woman whose fate we trace to the years modern... It's a slightly ironic story about finding your own identity.
