Piano eveningYunchan Lim plays Mozart
Invited by the Berliner Philharmoniker
info
Powerful and energetic, then tender and sensitive again — Yunchan Lim has a wide range of expressions. In 2022, the South Korean pianist made history when he was the youngest winner ever to win the renowned Van Cliburn Competition: the start of an international career. In May of next year, Yunchan Lim will make his debut as a soloist with the Berliner Philharmoniker. Before that, he is a guest in our piano series and presents himself with a pure Mozart program — including the graceful, rococo Sonata in D major K. 284, the painfully dark Sonata in A minor K. 310 and the dramatic Fantasia in D minor.
