Recital with Leif Ove AndSnesu 4 Piano: Beethoven's Legacy
tickets
Invited by the Berliner Philharmoniker
info
Leif Ove Andsnes is considered an ideal interpreter of Beethoven's work — because his playing brings out all facets of this music, from the great heroic gesture to the silent, poetic moments. In Beethoven's 200th year of death, the Norwegian dedicates himself to the last three piano sonatas — a piano legacy full of boldness, expressiveness and visionary ideas. Each of the three sonatas opens up its own world: light and floating, Sonata No. 30 in E major, heartfelt and thoughtful Sonata No. 31 op. 110, dramatic and dreamy Beethoven's last piano sonata op. 111.
