Climacteric... and already

Something between a cabaret, a musical and a farce.

The performance “Climax... and already” is a pleasant evening with women and for women, and its leading theme is a word that is often not pronounced on a daily basis.

Four friends, having met in a boutique run by one of them, turn the sensitive problem of menopause into songs and dances.

About the ailments that torment them, they sing to well-known melodies, for example, about hot flashes to the notes of the song “Cuba, an island like a volcano”.

About the show

The protagonists of the musical are four women of menopausal age. They all have problems that they have to deal with.

The show shows that menopause is naturally inscribed in a woman's life - the heroines performing on stage experience it, as do the women sitting in the audience who have had, have or will have similar experiences.

This is a difficult time, which does not mean at all hopeless. It is important to be aware of the community of experiences and to believe that menopausal complaints are not something unique.

Even though menopause affects all women, it still remains a shameful and often overlooked topic. The show, in an understandable, accessible and humorous way, shows different ways of dealing with this period of life.

Some heroines opt for hormone replacement therapy, others are afraid of it and choose herbal medicine, and still others turn to yoga or gymnastic exercises.

Art presents these different attitudes always with humor - all the more so since humor itself is an excellent remedy without side effects. Laughing makes it easier for us to endure adversity.
