The protagonists of the musical are four women of “menopausal” age. They all have problems that they have to deal with. We want to show that menopause is inscribed in the life of a woman - the heroines performing on stage have it, but also the women sitting in the audience - have had, have or will have it. This is a difficult time for a woman, which does not mean at all hopeless. It is important to be aware of the commonality of certain experiences - women sitting in the audience learn that their ailments are not something special. Although menopause affects all women, it is a shameful topic, and therefore carefully overlooked. Through the performance we want to illustrate, in an understandable, accessible and humorous way, how it can be dealt with in different ways. Some heroines want to undergo hormone replacement therapy, others are afraid of it and choose herbal medicine, still others go in the direction of yoga or gymnastic exercises. Art is supposed to show these different behaviors, but always in a humorous way - all the more so since humor itself is an excellent remedy (without side effects). Laughing makes it easier to endure adversity. Actresses are not afraid of ridicule, they are not ashamed to play middle-aged and elderly characters. These are well-known media figures, able to amuse and move the audience. They show that it is possible to be an active and creative woman, have fun and dance until a late age. No one, like the other woman, will understand the suffering that is experienced at this time. Hence the popular “female” meetings where you can talk about “shameful” topics that are difficult to talk about with your husband or children. I think the problems of climacteric time are best characterized by the opening text that women “rap” at the beginning of the show. The show aims to show that every woman has her own way of doing all this. The most important thing is that this topic should stop being a taboo subject to be able to talk about it. Important topics do not have to be presented seriously, which is why humor is so important in a performance.
