July 17, 2014, the village of Hrabovye in the Donetsk region, on the Ukrainian-Russian border. There is a large hole in the wall of Irka and Tolik's house, a fragment of the activities of pro-Russian separatists, and near their house are the remains of a downed Malaysia Airlaine passenger plane.

In the harsh landscape and the growing aggression around them, the two try to survive, lead a normal life, garden, take care of animals and wait for the birth of a child, pretending that they do not see the horrifying world around them.

Sparing, almost ascetic cinema, Ukrainian Oscar nominee.
