Social position, name, money, education, entrepreneurship, knowledge, energy — in the world of Bolesław Prus' Doll, different types of capital determine a person's place in society. During the meeting, we will look at the characters of the Doll through the prism of the resources they have at their disposal. We will create “portfolios of capital” of Wokulski and Izabela Łęcka to decide who is actually richer in this novel?
And what resources today help to find its place in the world? We will learn the exercise “My portfolio of resources and values”, which can become a starting point for talking with students about their knowledge, skills, experiences, relationships and opportunities for development.
The Teachers' Club is for a meeting of teachers who combine visiting exhibitions, workshops and talks about the heritage of Warsaw with exchange of experiences and inspirations for teaching work.
Registration form: forms.office.com
The meeting will take place in the Warsaw Museum (Old Town Square 42). We start at 16:30 in the workshop and educational room on the ground floor (entrance from the museum shop).
