During the walk we will focus on the fate of the heroines of “Dolls”. How did they live? What choices did they make? We will wonder if they have had a real impact on their lives at all. Our guides will be Marianna, Helena Stawska, Baroness Krzeszowska, Kazia Wąsowska and Izabela Łęcka herself.
We will check what image of a woman of the 19th century and her Warsaw life will emerge from the pages of the novel. We will also try to trace historical sources - we will refer to the newspapers of the time and real places that defined women's experiences.
The Teachers' Club is for a meeting of teachers who combine visiting exhibitions, workshops and talks about the heritage of Warsaw with exchange of experiences and inspirations for teaching work.
Registration form: forms.office.com
The meeting will take place in the Warsaw Museum (Old Town Square 42). We start at 16:30 in the workshop and educational room on the ground floor (entrance from the museum shop).
