During the meeting at the Prague Interiors exhibition, we will look behind the facades of Prague tenement houses and look at the details preserved in their interiors. We will look for traces of old technologies and crafts, changing fashions and tastes, but above all the people who designed, executed and used these spaces for decades to come.
The exhibition will also become an opportunity to talk about mindfulness for the immediate environment. We will try to look at the detail as a source and see how much can be discovered starting from a single, seemingly ordinary element. We will also consider how to encourage young people to pay close attention to their own school, home, townhouse or the nearest neighborhood? How to develop curiosity, observation skills and sensitivity to local heritage by searching for details and reading the stories recorded in them?
The Teachers' Club is for a meeting of teachers who combine visiting exhibitions, workshops and talks about the heritage of Warsaw with exchange of experiences and inspirations for teaching work.
Registration form: forms.office.com
The meeting will take place at the Warsaw Prague Museum (Targowa Street 50/52).
