We invite you to the Centre for the Interpretation of the Monument to raise the issue of Warsaw's tangible and intangible heritage, important not only for the capital itself, but also for the whole country. We will consider what messages flow from Warsaw to the world and whether they are still readable for ourselves. We will also talk about whether further Polish history and culture have a great influence on our lives.
The starting point for us will be the Blue Shield, an international sign created by Jan Zachwatowicz. It was mentioned in the first act of international law adopted in The Hague on 14 May 1954 under the name Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict. It is a document dedicated exclusively to the protection of cultural heritage, threatened as a result of armed conflicts.
The Teachers' Club is for a meeting of teachers who combine visiting exhibitions, workshops and talks about the heritage of Warsaw with exchange of experiences and inspirations for teaching work.
Registration form: forms.office.com
The meeting will take place at the Monument Interpretation Centre (11/13 Brzozowa Street).
