The month-long trip to Tajikistan was divided into two stages. The first, mountaineering — led to the highest and most rugged areas of the Fann Mountains. The goal was to capture the five-thousandth Energia (5120 m). The second, trekking — is a hike through vast valleys, windy passes, stone gorges and green, idyllic terraces. It will be a story about a journey through landscapes that are still free from the hustle and bustle of civilization. About people who have little, but have what is most important in life — serenity, time and each other. About a country that is slowly but inevitably becoming like the rest of the world.

Joanna Tuszyńska and Rafał Pocztowy form a close-knit travel duo. They choose unpopular destinations, where marked trails and Instagram stories do not reach. They choose places where there is no telephone coverage, crowds of tourists or unnecessary amenities. For this there is space, unspoiled nature and a rhythm in which everyday affairs recede into the background.
