“CANADA — not just in the footsteps of Lucy Maud Montgomery and Ani from Green Hill”

Take a journey through six Canadian provinces from the subarctic tundra of Newfoundland to the warm forests of Ontario. We will explore beautiful National Parks, visit modern cities, meet local people and the animals that inhabit Canada. We will also come into contact with interesting aspects of Canadian culture and history, and an interesting story and original photographs and videos will transport us to this beautiful and worth knowing country. During the meeting, we will pay special attention to the beautiful Prince Edward Island, where Lucy Maud Montgomery lived. It was there that one of the most famous books of all time “Anna from the Green Hill” was created. We will see the house where the writer was born and the estate belonging to her family, which became the inspiration for writing the famous novel. We will look into Ani Shirley's reconstructed room and wander the forest paths that Lucy Maud Montgomery walked on.

The meeting will take place as part of the Traveller's Club cycle at the Culture Club in Zalesie Górny, organized by the Cultural Center in Piaseczno and the Public Library in Piaseczno.
