Traveller's Club: To the beat of the drums — a cultural journey through Togo, Benin and Ghana. Meeting with Mariola Maćko

We will embark on a journey through West Africa, discovering the rhythms, colors and traditions of Togo, Benin and Ghana. In Togo, we will take part in unusual Vodun ceremonies, visit the market of fetishes and fire priests. We will see how the royal kente fabric is made. In Benin, we will look into the Temple of the Pythons, walk along a fragment of the historical Slave Route, visit the royal palaces of Dahomey and a unique water settlement. In Ghana, we will be delighted with the necklaces of the Krobo people and the colorful traditions of the local villages. We will attend the Millet Festival and meet the king of the Asante people. We will end our trip with a strong touch — visiting the castle of Elmina, a former slave trade center.
