The Club of Seniors and Modern Seniors takes a tour of the exhibition

The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw warmly invites you to take a tour of the current exhibitions. During these meetings, members of the Club of Seniors and Modern Seniors will share their reflections and stories about the works presented.

The club has been operating in the Museum for several years, and its members are people who not only follow the world of contemporary art with commitment, but also actively participate in the cultural life of the city.

The meetings have an open format — participants are encouraged to actively participate in discussions, ask questions and share their insights. It is a unique opportunity to look at art from a different perspective, through intergenerational dialogue and exchange of experiences. Guided tours are not only a form of education, but also a space for collective reflection on art and its role in everyday life.

I like to tell from the position of a volunteer because then I have more freedom in building the narrative. Sometimes I talk about the author and sometimes about his work. Other times about technique or workshop. I have time to get in touch with the listener — I hear interesting comments, I like questions. Sometimes we enrich the story with our own experiences or family stories. Such encounters with man and art are revealing and nourishing.
