With his music, producer Hansgod, based in the south of France, serves a niche characterized by analog texture work, jagged beats and euphoric melodies. His releases on labels such as Obliqu3 and his own Gnosticuts are characterized by a polymorphic sound design. Modular synthesizer loops meet layers of organic percussion, floating synths, and broken kicks. It's hardly surprising that DJs like Laurent Garnier and John Digweed play his progressive tracks. For this club night, Hansgod is playing live at Säule on Sunday evening. The founder of the Limousine Dream label plays with Gene On Earth at Panorama Bar. His style is inspired by the history of the American leftfield house of the late 90s: dry-rolling bass lines, humorous sample details and precisely set synth bars form the basis of his sets. And under his alias L.B. Dub Corp, Luke Slater is once again focusing entirely on house.
