SECONDS is the joint project of Setaoc Mass and Phara. As a producer and DJ, Mass works at the interface of classic UK techno and contemporary, hypnotic rigour. His releases on his own label SK_eleven impress with a sound design that is decisively influenced by the precise percussion structures of the TR-909 as well as by cool, sequenced synthesizer arpeggios. The Belgian producer and resident DJ at Fuse Club Phara pursues a sound concept that in turn is heavily influenced by the raw aesthetics of warehouse techno of the 90s. Under the name SECONDS, the two will not only play B2B sets, but will also release joint tracks. Lucas Depta and Violetta from the Berlin-based label hello, goodbye are playing at Panorama Bar. Depta is a long-time employee at Hamburg-based vinyl distributor Word And Sound and was more likely to be found on the techno floor in previous years under the alias Lakkes. In recent years, he has shifted his aesthetic orientation towards house, disco and electro. He often plays B2B sets with Violetta and has re-released, among other things, the Sascha Funke and Swayzak remixes of Quark's “Allein” on their joint label, a timeless document of the electro-pop era of the early 00s in Berlin.
