Tino comes from Nottingham and began his musical career in Manchester as part of the Move Like Me collective. On his eponymous label, he made his debut with “Di Amore”. His sound is based on classic, uplifting house structures, which he translates into a slim rhythm trax. His productions on labels such as Non Stop Rhythm and Global Swing not only quote classic, jacketing Chicago House with their titles such as “Work My Body” or “Bumpa 2 Bumpa”. Tino is playing at Panorama Bar for the first time this evening. Valley Dolly is coming to her second gig after her debut at the last CSD. The DJ and multimedia artist is a resident at Tiflis Bassiani and Stuttgart's Romantica. Musically, her approach draws on the history of the New York House School and the queer aspects of club culture. As co-founder of the Tbilisi Hydrash Collective, she combines this sound aesthetic with a DIY practice based on solidarity. Berghain includes the Belgian vinyl-only DJ Marie-Julie, who was decisively influenced by the hard-wax record store and its purist aesthetics during a one-year stay in Berlin.
