Code of Evil | Movie City

Contemporary American horror film directed by Osgood Perkins — currently recognized as one of the most original creators in the genre.

“Code of Evil” is a terrifying story about a young FBI agent (played by Maika Monroe), trying to solve a case of serial murders. In the course of the investigation, more evidence comes to light, including occult and satanic threads, evidently linked to the whole case. The protagonist also has to face the demons of her own past, especially since as the action of the murder unfolds, they begin to intertwine alarmingly with her personal history.

“Code of Evil” is a film that is able to captivate the viewer already with its atmosphere and its sinister aura. The set of measures and treatments used by Perkins fits perfectly with the whole story. A separate, strong element is also the surprising role of Nicolas Cage, which has a chance to permanently enshrine itself in the recent history of horror cinema.
