Workshops
DR Vocal Ensemble
After the very popular workshops for choral singers in the DR Koncerthuset in recent years, we are pleased to welcome you to another afternoon in the field of choral music, where you, together with the professional singers of the DR Vocal Ensemble, will help interpret one of the most beloved religious works for choirs: Mozart's Requiem.
Together we create one large choir, where the singers of the DR Vocal Ensemble stand together with our singing guests. Conductor and host Carsten Seyer-Hansen leads the choir through this afternoon's musical workshop, where we explore Mozart's moving work together.
During the workshop you will get tips and inspiration for warm-up and singing technique from Carsten Seyer-Hansen and the professional singers of the DR Vocal Ensemble, and we will also round up the story behind the creation of the famous work. In conclusion, we will perform an informal mini-concert for family and friends, for which tickets can be purchased here on the DR Koncerthuset website.
The event is aimed at amateur choral singers of all ages and voice types. However, there can be a maximum of 100 participants for each type of vote.
Nodes:
• You can choose to purchase a copy of your choir voice along with your ticket to the workshop. Then we will send you the node by mail well in advance of the workshop.
• If you do not want to buy the choir voice, you can bring your own node or borrow a copy when you arrive at DR Koncerthuset.
Practical information:
• The event starts at 13.00 and ends at the end of the concert, approximately 18.00.
• There will be a break with tea, coffee and cake during the day.
• The final “concert” starts at 17.00 — Read more and buy tickets here
