About the event

Fabryka Kultury Zrzyt and Warsaw Pact Records invite you to a hardcore punk festival on November 14th as part of the 40th anniversary of Abaddon's “wet za wet” album!

They will play:

ABADDON — a band from Bydgoszcz that has existed since 1982 playing furious hardcore/punk. He presented himself to a wider audience during three editions of the festival in Jarocin in 1983-1985, Róbrege in Warsaw and in Yugoslavia, where on the tour they recorded material for their debut album “Wet za wet”. The album was released in 1986 by French New Wave Records. In Poland, the band's recordings were available in the form of single numbers on two legendary mixtapes — “Fala” and “Jak Punk to Punk”. In 1987, the band ceased operations, only to be reactivated years later in 2001. In 2004, the band released their second album “Hour of Krzywd”. This year the legendary album “Wet za Wet” celebrates its 40th anniversary!. The album was officially released in Poland only in 1994 by Melissa Records on cassette, in 2001 by Pop Noise on CD and on vinyl by Warsaw Pact Records in 2012. In 2019 Warsaw Pact Records released their concert with Jarocin 1984 on vinyl.

TZN XENNA — Warsaw punk rock band formed in 1981. Known for the fact that despite the invitation, they refused to perform at the festival in Jarocin, describing it as “militia”. In 1984 they had their most famous concert with the Puławy Siekera and the American Youth Brigade. In the same year, they recorded four songs — two on Tonpress's legendary seven-inch “Children from a Dirty Street” and two on the equally famous mix “Jak Punk To Punk”. The band disbanded in 1987, only to be reactivated years later in 2011. Since then, they have released two EPs and two full-length albums. In 2012 Warsaw Pact Records released their concert from the 1985 Róbrege festival on vinyl.

MOSCOW — Łódź band founded in 1983. A year later, they recorded their demo, which gave them access to a performance on Jarocin. The band played at numerous festivals — fragments of their performances or interviews can be seen in the documentaries “Wave” and “My blood, your blood”. In 1986, they recorded their debut album “Never!” (officially released only in 2002!). A year later, they recorded the album “Moscow”, released in 1989. Over time, the band from furiously fast hardcore inspired by Discharge or GBH softened their sound to rock n roll or downright blues — which was heard on their 1990 album “Extraordinary Life”. The band disbanded in 1991, only to be reactivated 10 years later. In 2019, the band released the EP “XXI century”. Warsaw Pact Records released vinyl EPs “Studio 1984” (2011), “Wiem” (2017) and Jarocin concert from 1984 (2025).

PATHOLOGIA — Świdnica punk band founded in 1982 under the name Pathologia Grazi. The peak period of activity is 1983-1984. In 1983, the band recorded a demo (officially released by Pasajer Records in 2021). In 1999, the team reactivated under the abbreviated name Pathology. Since then they have released three albums.
