October 17, 2026, we invite you to the Kościański Cultural Center for a unique evening with Katarzyna Żak!

At 18:00 in the KOK auditorium, the concert “Very Funny Songs” will begin - full of intelligent humor and an excellent acting song.

We invite you to an extraordinary evening with an acting song, humor and excellent acting. On Saturday, October 17 this year, one of the most beloved Polish actresses - Katarzyna Żak will perform with a recital entitled: “Very funny songs”. This is a proposal for all those who value intelligent humor, beautiful lyrics and music that tells about life with distance, warmth and a huge dose of emotion.

An acting song at its best

How to give familiar works a whole new meaning with the help of words, melodies and acting interpretation? How to create on the stage a gallery of colorful female characters - from a romantic dreamer, through a mother, wife and mistress, to a woman full of temperament and character?

These questions will be answered by the recital “Very Funny Songs”, which with lightness combines humor, reflection and excellent acting. It is a performance in which each song becomes a separate story, and laughter is interspersed with moments of emotion.

The program will include both timeless pieces of the pre-war cabaret by Marian Hemar and Stanisław Ratold, as well as songs with lyrics by contemporary masters of the word - Wojciech Młynarski, Piotr Bukartyek, Artur Andrus and Andrzej Poniedzielski.

Katarzyna Żak has been delighting the audience for years both on the stage and in front of the camera. Viewers loved her for the roles of Solejukova in the TV series “Ranch” and Alina Krawczyk in “Honey Years”. She is also an esteemed singer and theatre actress, performing on the stages of Warsaw theatres, including Och-Teatr, Capitol Theatre and Komedia Theatre. Her recital is a unique combination of excellent acting skills, mature vocals, subtle humor and a huge distance to herself. It is a meeting with an artist who is able to amuse the audience to tears, only to move them a moment later with a beautiful interpretation and emotional message.

Welcome to KOK

Ahead is an evening full of smiles, emotions and excellent music. If you are looking for an event that entertains, touches and remains in your memory for a long time, the recital “Very Funny Songs” will be an excellent choice.
