accomplishments

Robert Skiera is a Polish pianist and chamber musician, a graduate of the Warsaw University of Music in 1988 in the piano class of Alicja Paleta-Bugaj and the chamber music class of Barbara Halska.

After receiving his diploma, he began working at his native Academy as an assistant professor in the chamber music department, working closely with Piotr Paleczny.

Lecturer at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and teacher of the J. Elsner State Music School Ensemble, Robert Skiera conducts a lively concert and pedagogical activity all over the world. He conducts classes as part of international music courses, performs as a soloist and chamber musician with many outstanding actors and musicians. Let's name just a few: festivals and concerts in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Hungary, Austria and Italy. He performed with famous Polish musicians and actors. It has received many excellent reviews around the world. He is a regular guest of the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra.

He has made recordings for many radio and television stations around the world.

For many years he has been performing Chopin concerts for the PRESTO Concert Agency. Since April 2019, the venue for these concerts is the Fryderyk Concert Hall.
