Achievements

Tetiana Shafran was born in Kiev, Ukraine. She began her piano career at the age of three.

She graduated from the Lysenko Special Music School in Kiev, and then continued her studies at the P. Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music of Ukraine in the class of Prof. A. Vasin, which she graduated in 2012. She also studied at the Oksana Jabłońska Piano Academy under the direction of Prof. Oksana Jabłońska.

Tetiana is a laureate of around 30 international piano competitions. Her most important achievements include winning the 1st prize and the Gold Medal at the Olga Kern International Piano Competition in New Mexico (USA) in 2019.

In 2023, she made her debut as a juror at the Odyssey International Piano Competition in Colorado (USA), while also being a member of the prestigious Alink-Argerich Foundation.

The artist has performed at many renowned music festivals around the world, such as:

Shenzhen International Music Festival (China), Sarajevo International Music Festival (Bosnia), Portland International Piano Festival (USA), Gabala Music Festival (Azerbaijan), Milan International Piano Festival (Italy), International Music Festival “Odyssey” in Fort Collins (Colorado, USA) and many others.

Her concerts have been held in prestigious concert halls around the world, including:

Shenzhen Grand Theatre (China), Lindeman Hall (Oslo, Norway), Llewellyn Hall (Canberra, Australia), Popejoy Concert Hall (New Mexico, USA), Lied Center (Kansas City, USA), Palau de la Música (Valencia, Spain), Theatre Mohammed V (Rabat, Morocco), Cecilia Meireles Hall (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), Felicia Blumental Music Center (Tel Aviv) Israel), Congress Hall (Gabala, Azerbaijan), as well as in many other music centers.

She has collaborated with many outstanding orchestras and conductors, including: maestro D. Jabłoński, V. Sirenko, H. Earle, F. Krager, G. Glinka, R. Minczuk, M. Diadiura and others.

In 2023, her debut album was released by the prestigious label Steinway & Sons in New York and received rave reviews from music critics.
