One of the most characteristic formations of the Polish rock scene returns to the concert stage!
Closterkeller is a band whose music cannot be confused with any other. The dark, emotional sound, expressive compositions, poetic lyrics and characteristic voice of Anji Orthodox have for years created a unique musical world that attracts subsequent generations of listeners.
Founded in 1988 in Warsaw, Closterkeller is one of the most important bands that have co-created the Polish gothic rock scene. Over time, however, the group developed its own eclectic style — from moody ballads and rock compositions to much heavier sounds. Anja Orthodox herself describes the band's music as a broad-spectrum dark rock.
On the band's account there are albums that have been permanently recorded in the history of Polish music, including “Purple”, “Blue”, “Violet”, “Scarlet”, “Cyan”, “Graphite” and “Nero”. A special place is occupied by the album “Violet” from 1993, which became one of the most important releases in the history of Polish Gothic rock.
Today, Closterkeller still remains a band strongly associated with concerts. It is music that is best experienced live — directly, intensely and in full sound.
If you know such songs as “Power”, “Agnieszka”, “Scarlett”, “On the Edge” or “Viridian”, this will be a meeting with music, which for many listeners has become part of the musical history of their lives.
