Concert by Michał Łangowski

We invite you to the concert of Michał Łangowski - immediately after the announcement of the winners of the 3rd Review of Poetic and Tourist Song.

Michal Langowski

Singing author, musician, composer, author of texts and translations, and artistic manager. Creator and host of the cycle “Śpiewograń Online”, which has been going on for more than 5 years, and a series of interviews with famous personalities of the world of Poetic Song: “Traveling in Muzy”.

Since the beginning of his musical journey, that is, since 2004, he has been associated with the band Cisza Jak Ta, as its leader, vocalist, guitarist, author of most songs, and manager.

During the years 2010-2021, he wrote more than forty songs for the band, and organized and conducted more than a thousand concerts of this musical group.

Author and originator, realized with the team of artistic projects: “From the Old Drawer”, “Ciszaki i Dzieciaki”, and “Renovation”.

Together with the team, he won major awards and distinctions at the most important Student Festivals in Poland — at “Bazuna” in Tri-City and “Yapa” in Łódź.

Together with Cisza Jak Ta, he recorded 18 albums, and the albums “Nasze Światy”, “Wuka” and “Nie” were recognized in 2012, 2013 and 2017 as the “Poetic Record of the Year” in the opinion-forming radio program “Baza Międzyz z Mgły”.

In 2013, together with the team, he was awarded the “Pegasus of Culture”, for the Creators of Culture.

The following year, the band's songs win nine, out of ten places, in the top ten of listeners' voting of the national music competition TVN, Radio Three and Skoda “Skoda Auto Muzyka”, and the band Cisza Jak Ta wins the National Audience Award. In 2019 and 2020, under his own name, he records a disc trilogy with songs that did not find a place in the band's repertoire. The project: “Between Silence and Silence”, contains forty works by Michał, and was realized with the arrangement and performance assistance of Paweł Ruszkowski, Jacek Konieczny, as well as a group of invited singers.

In 2021, she creates a duet “M&M”, with Martin Kac, and the album with the songs of both members of the duo — is recognized as the “Poetic Record of the Year” in the program “Baza Międzu z Mgły”, and the “Record of the Year” by Radio Danielka.

In 2022, following the sudden death of a friend of the duo, Martin, he undertook to record all the works created during the one-year creative period, which were included in three subsequent releases. The albums “W porannej bieli”, “Z Niebieski Kolegą”, and “W piątą stronie mondiale”, contain thirty previously unsung songs by Martin and Michał, and were realized in collaboration with Zbigniew Preisner, Roman Ziobro, and Darek Czarny. Since 2022, he has been touring solo, with a program entitled “In the Fifth Side of the World”, which includes a selection of one hundred and twenty songs written by him, as well as the works of the deceased Friend.
