“From Dream to Three” — Paul Kletzki Ensemble

During the next concert entitled “Da suonare a Tre”, the audience will have the opportunity to hear an unusually colorful repertoire for string trio performed by Paul Kletzki Ensemble.

The ensemble is made up of graduates of the Academy of Music in Łódź and Katowice: Magdalena Kling-Fender — violin, Elżbieta Mroczek-Loska — viola and Robert Fender — cello. The trio was founded in 2018 and since then actively participates in the musical life both in Poland and abroad. The musicians also conduct individual artistic activities, performing as soloists and chamber musicians, as well as collaborating with orchestras such as the Łódź Philharmonic, Bielska Chamber Orchestra, Avenna's Concerto and the Polish Camerata.

Paul Kletzki Ensemble's artistic output also includes disc, radio and television recordings, including performances of music by contemporary composers created especially for the band or on its order. A special place in the trio's activity is occupied by the recording of Johann Sebastian Bach's “Goldberg Variations” in the version for string trio. The album was honored with the Silver Medal of the prestigious Global Musical Awards in the USA in 2019, and was also included in the TOP 10 list of Autumn 2019.

The concert program “Da suonare a Tre” was built around two great names in classical music — Ludwig van Beethoven and Ernst von Dohnányi.

The concert will open with Ludwig van Beethoven's String Trio Op. 9 No. 2 in D major, a work full of elegance, energy and contrasts. Afterwards, Ernst von Dohnányi's Serenade in C major Op. 10 is an extremely impressive composition, combining lyricism, virtuosity and a variety of moods. After the break, the program will be completed by Beethoven's String Trio in C minor Op. 9 No. 3, showing the composer's more dramatic and expressive face.

“Da suonare a Tre” is an invitation to the world of chamber music, in which three instruments conduct an extraordinary dialogue with each other. It is music that requires concentration, but at the same time full of emotion, dynamism and beauty, which resonates especially strongly during a live concert.
