Brass Riders brass quartet will present a show dedicated to iconic themes known from the small and big screen. We will hear compositions by masters of Polish film and entertainment music in unusual arrangements by Tomasz Stolarczyk. Among them will be works by Jerzy Matuszkiewicz, Włodzimierz Korcz, Henryk Kuźniak and Piotr Marczewski — artists who have made a permanent mark in the history of Polish popular culture. The program includes “Janosik”, “07 apply”, “Once again Vabank”, “Alternatives 4”, “Nikodem Dyzma's career”, “40-year-old”.

The unique sound of the Brass Riders quartet will give these songs a surprising new dimension.

Brass Riders is one of the most talented and recognizable tin quartets on the contemporary music scene.

The band was formed in 2019 on the initiative of trombonist Andrzej Tkaczyk, and also includes Tomasz Stolarczyk and Tomasz Gajewski — trombonists and Jarosław Jastrzębski — tubist. The idea behind the band's activities is the promotion of brass instruments and the popularization of chamber music. All members are instrumentalists of the Karol Szymanowski Philharmonic in Krakow. The quartet's repertoire includes a wide range of works: from classical chamber music to arrangements of famous film works. Brass Riders regularly promotes Polish culture through concerts both in Poland and abroad. One of the unique projects initiated by the band is “Polish film music in arrangement for brass quartet”. This project aims to promote the richness of Polish film music and to present it in a new, original light. Of particular value are the original arrangements of one of the members of the group, Tomasz Stolarczyk, which give the Brass Riders a unique character and allow them to explore a diverse repertoire.

Through its activities, Brass Riders aims to inspire others to discover the sound of brass instruments and the beauty of chamber music. The band has a rich portfolio of performances at music festivals and concerts both in Poland and abroad. The quartet is currently represented by Wioletta Fluda-Tkaczyk.
