In the beautiful interior of the Fryderyk Concert Hall, lit only by the glow of candles, we will listen to the compositions of Fryderyk Chopin performed by extraordinary artists - outstanding musicians of our time.

The concerts are two-part recitals lasting about 60 minutes, based on the idea of salon musical meetings popular in the 19th century. During the break of the concert we will treat you with a glass of sparkling wine.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the concert.

Haruka Matsumoto was born and raised in Osaka, Japan in 1995. She began her musical education at the age of four, learning to play the piano. Haruka graduated from two prestigious universities: Toho College of Music in Tokyo and the renowned Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She studied with several respected professors, including Koji Shimoda, Yoshito Numasawa, Hitomi Kamba, Hiroe Arai, Ayami Iida and Anna Jastrzębska-Quinn.

She participated in master classes led by eminent pianists and educators such as Eliso Virsaladze, Pascal Devoyon, Mikhail Voskresensky, Kálmán Dráfi and Takako Takahashi.

Haruka is a laureate of many national and international piano competitions. She won 1st prize at Japan Piano Competition in 2020, 1st prize and Grand Prix at Danubia Talents International Competition in Hungary in 2024, 1st prize and Grand Prix at K Competition in Tokyo, Silver Prize at the International Chopin Competition in Asia in 2017 and 2nd prize at the Paderewski in Memoriam International Piano Competition in Poland.

She has performed at Sumida Triphony Hall in Tokyo, Radziwiłłów Palace, Japanese Embassy in Poland and KAWAI concert halls in Osaka, Hiroshima and Warsaw.

He shares his knowledge with the younger generation of pianists in Poland. Haruka has a deep understanding of Fryderyk Chopin's work and Polish piano music, which he constantly explores and brings to life in his performances.
