About the event

Program of the concert

The program includes works from baroque to contemporary!

accomplishments

La Belle Nuit is a beautiful night where music speaks of love.

It is a series of candlelit concerts dedicated to the art of classical singing — from baroque elevations to contemporary stories. The program of the evening includes the most beautiful arias and songs, often inspired by the theme of love, performed by outstanding artists in an atmosphere of intimacy and candlelight.

In the Fryderyk Concert Hall in Warsaw, as in 19th century music salons in Poland and Europe, we meet to celebrate the voice — the most perfect of instruments. In the break — a glass of sparkling wine, as in the old days, when music united people in elegance, emotion and silence.

La Belle Nuit is not just a concert. It is a meeting with beauty that stays with you for a long time.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the concert.

Jagoda Sokołowska‑O'Donovan — mezzo-soprano, flutist, cultural manager, architect of the Fryderyk Concert Hall

Versatile artist and organizer of musical life. She graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Krakow. Winner of national and international competitions, she has toured in Europe, Asia and North America. Her artistry was appreciated by Jerzy Waldorff — a prominent Polish music critic, essayist and popularizer of culture — who called her “an exceptionally talented artist... an outstanding musical personality”. Founder and director of the Fryderyk Concert Hall in Warsaw — a unique place inspired by the Chopin era and 19th century music salons, where she combines artistic activity with the vision of a modern patron of culture.
