ORIENT NOMADS
The ensemble is made up of artists from Syria, Kurdistan and Poland, united by a passion for ethnic sounds and a deep need to tell stories through sounds. The repertoire will include both original compositions and traditional Middle Eastern, Oriental and Sephardic songs, full of melancholy, mysticism and trance energy. The trio uses original instruments — riq, daf, darbuka, accordion — to create an unusually colorful soundscape that echoes the desert, urban streets of Damascus and forgotten stories passed down from generation to generation. It is a meeting of three cultures, three musical sensibilities and one heart beating to the rhythm of the Orient. The Tria Orient Nomads concert is not just a performance — it is a spiritual experience that moves and stays with the listener long after the last tone has sounded.
