Apeiron Trio
The band was formed in 2019 on the initiative of three musicians, who have repeatedly collaborated with each other within the framework of many artistic projects. It consists of graduates and educators of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań: Hanna Lizinkiewicz (piano), Piotr Kosarga (violin) and Jan Czaja (cello). One of the most important areas of activity of the band is the promotion of Polish chamber music of the last two centuries. Among the most important achievements of Apeiron Trio are the realization of projects: Panufnik, Twardowski, Górecki — masterpieces of Polish chamber music of the 20th century under a grant from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2021) and Mirecki, Stolpe, Żeleński — forgotten masterpieces of Polish chamber music (2020). In addition, the musicians collaborate with many composers of recent music, making many premieres of works including: Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska, Katarzyna Kwiecień-Długosz, Piotr Pawlik, Monika Kędziora, Barbara Kaszuba and Radosław Matea. As a band, Apeiron Trio is also a repeatedly successful participant in national and international music competitions. The most important achievements of the band include: 2nd prize (I not awarded) in The 2nd Online “Sviatoslav Richter” International Piano Competition (Seoul, 2021), 2nd prize in I International Instrumental Performance Competition (Łódź, 2021), 1st prize in the International Moscow Music Online-Competition (Moscow, 2021), Grand Prix at the International Grand Music Competition Online (Moscow, 2020) and an invitation to a concert at the Moe Conservatory Skiewski in 2021, 3rd prize in the category of chamber music in the International Competition “On Stage Competition” (Italy, 2020), Distinction in the 1st Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music in Rzeszów (2019).
