Mozart and Haydn were friends, artistic partners and, above all, composers who were able to give classical music a special lightness and naturalness. Their music does not need big words — just listen to it to feel energy, humor, elegance, but also emotions that surprise with their topicality.
Then the XXXVI Symphony in C major KV 425 “Linz” will sound. Mozart wrote it in just a few days, when he learned during his stay in Linz that he was going to perform a new work. The pressure of time did not prevent him from creating music full of momentum, precision and energy. This is one of those tracks where you can hear how much emotion can be hidden behind the apparent simplicity.
After the break, we will change the perspective. Instead of an orchestra, the cello will come to the fore, and with it Joseph Haydn's Cello Concerto in D major.
