The performers will take you on an unusual, enchanting musical journey that will begin in old Vienna, gradually discovering the fascinations of masters — such as Strauss, Lehár and Kálmán — with Roma folklore, and in the second part of the concert will take the listeners with the gypsy camp to different countries and cultures of Europe (including Austria, Poland, Hungary, Romania, etc. the European Union, the Balkans, Spain and Italy).

About the event

The performers will take you on an unusual, enchanting musical journey that will begin in old Vienna, gradually discovering the fascinations of masters — such as Strauss, Lehár and Kálmán — with Roma folklore, and in the second part of the concert will take the listeners with the gypsy camp to different countries and cultures of Europe (including Austria, Poland, Hungary, Romania, etc. the European Union, the Balkans, Spain and Italy).

The real attraction will be the extremely impressive virtuoso paraphrases and violin fantasies of Marjan Lomaha, which are enthusiastically received all over the world. You will also be amazed by the unique voice, great stage charm and fiery temperament of the opera diva Agata Sava (mezzo-soprano) and the incomparable tenor Nazar Tatsyshin. The performance will be complemented by a daring dance of ballet soloists. The artists provide an evening full of hot emotions and attractive sensations, which will remain in the memory of the listeners for a long time.

During the concert you will hear compositions by, among others, J. Strauss, F. Lehár, I. Kálmán, F. Kreisler, V. Monti, J. Brahms and G. Bizet, as well as author's paraphrases by Artur Banaszkiewicz (such as Czardasz of the Countess of Marica or Czardasz Monti) and many other musical surprises. All this accompanied by an excellent, international and unique in Poland Vienna Chamber Orchestra and a troupe of classical ballet dancers.

Our Artists:
Agata Sava is an outstanding Polish mezzo-soprano, soloist of the Prague Opera. A graduate of the Hochschule für Musik in Munich, from which she graduated with honors. She is a recipient of prestigious grants: DAAD (German Government Scholarship) and Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now. He performs actively on stages all over the world, including at the Chicago Philharmonic Hall, the National Philharmonic in Warsaw and the Lucerne Concert Hall.
Marjan Lomaha — violin virtuoso, composer and arranger. In addition to the classical repertoire, the artist often presents to the audience his own works created on the canvas of the repertoire of Rob Lakatos and paraphrases of famous works from different areas of music (including: Viva Strauss! , chardists, excerpts from Fiddler on the Roof, Hava Nagila, Play Me Beautiful Gypsies). The author's concert Evening in the Land of the Czardas, inspired by Gypsy and Jewish folklore, opened the doors of many prestigious concert halls in the world — from the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, through the Berlin Philharmonic and Leipzig Gewandhaus, to the largest concert halls in Japan, where he performed from 2021 to 2023.
