Concert “The Great Lady”

It's not just a concert... It is a story told with songs such as GÓRNIAK, KAYAH, RODOWICZ, JANTAR...

Each of us has such a song that reminds us of first love. The one we cried at, or the one that gave us courage when we needed it most. “Wielka Dama” is a unique musical event, during which the greatest Polish hits come together into one moving story about love, relationships, longing, strength and finding oneself. This is not a recital or a cover concert. It is a musical story divided into four acts, in which each subsequent song becomes the next chapter of life.

During the concert you will hear, among others: “Just ask me to dance”, “Chestnuts”, “Nothing can last forever”, “Hot blood flows in us”, “Testosterone”, “Wielka Woda”, “I am a woman” and author's works by Cornelia, which complete this story and give it a personal character.

The whole thing is enriched by subtle narratives between the songs — short stories that do not translate the music, but allow us to look at well-known songs from a completely new perspective. New arrangements performed live by piano, guitars, violin and drums give timeless hits a fresh, contemporary sound while retaining their emotional power.

“The Great Lady” is a concert for women and men, for those who grew up with these songs, and for those who are just discovering their extraordinary power. Some songs never get old. Only what we discover in them changes with the subsequent stages of our lives.

We invite you to an evening full of emotions, where everyone can find a piece of their own story.”
