Steve Marriner is one of the most versatile musicians on the Canadian blues scene. He plays harmonica, guitar, bass and keyboards, and is also a vocalist, songwriter and producer. Because of his skills and versatility, he is called the “Swiss Pocket Knife”.

As a member of MonkeyJunk, he recorded six albums and won numerous awards, including the Juno Awards and the Maple Blues Awards. He has also collaborated with artists such as Colin James, Harry Manx and Paul Reddick.

Marriner also successfully develops a solo career. His 2021 album “Hope Dies Last” earned him a Juno Award nomination, and released in 2025, “Hear My Heart” was very well received and brought more accolades. The album combines blues, roots, funk and country, showing a more personal side of the artist's work.

The November concert will be an opportunity to see Steve Marriner in a new version — as the leader of his own band, with his own repertoire and characteristic sound.
