About the event

On October 29, 2026, the “Miracle of Memory” concert will take place at the Marenie Cinema — a musical meeting dedicated to the work of one of the most charismatic and recognizable artists of the Polish music scene, Stanisław Sojka.

Stanisław Sojka was a singer, pianist, composer and songwriter whose work escaped simple classifications. He moved freely between jazz, popular music and sung poetry, creating his own recognizable musical language.

After his departure, what is most important in his songs resonates even more strongly: attentiveness to the word, sensitivity, calmness and extraordinary sincerity of the message.

October 29, 2026 (Thursday), 20:00 Kino Marenie, 4 Staszica Street Tickets: PLN 50 in advance online and at the cinema box office (during Marzeni's working hours) from September 7, 2026.

“The Miracle of Memory” is an artistic paraphrase of the title of one of Stanisław Sojka's most famous works — “The Miracle of Remembrance”. In the context of the November time of reflection and memory, the concert acquires special significance. It will be an evening dedicated to the music that has accompanied subsequent generations of listeners over the years, but also to reflection on what remains in our memory — people, emotions, words and moments that, despite the passage of time, do not lose their meaning.

Stanisław Sojka's work has been eluding unambiguous genre classifications for years. The artist successfully combines jazz, popular music and sung poetry, creating his own distinctive musical language. A special place in his work is occupied by works based on poetry and literary texts, in which music becomes a space for stories about love, relationships, sensitivity, transience and the human need for closeness.

During the concert there will be songs that have been permanently etched in the memory of the Polish audience, such as “The Miracle of Memory”, “Tolerance” or “Absolutely Nothing”. Their timelessness means that even today they remain an important voice in the conversation about values, the other person and the world that is constantly changing.

“The Miracle of Memory”, however, will not only be a concert commemorating the achievements of an outstanding artist. It is above all a musical story about memory — about what we want to keep, to whom we want to devote a moment to memories and what emotions remain with us even as the years go by.

In the atmosphere of autumn evening and suffocating reflection, Stanisław Sojka's music will sound like an invitation to stop for a moment. To remember those who are no longer with us, but also to look closely at those who are next to us.

Krzysztof Mroziak is responsible for the artistic direction of the concert. Musicians and vocalists will perform on the stage:

Małgorzata Boć — vocals, winner of “Chance for Success”, Ewa Siembida-Jachym — vocals, Krzysztof Chruściel — vocals, Sebastian Stachurski — vocals, guitars, Krzysztof Mroziak — keyboards, Maciej Łosiewicz — keyboards, Władysław Wiater — saxophone, flute, Wojciech Kwieciński — double bass, bass, Robert Winczowski — drums, Julia Honkisz — backing vocals, Weronika Pietranis — backing vocals.

It will be an evening of music, memories and emotions. An evening in which memory will become not only a theme, but also a space of encounter — with music, poetry and the other person.
